Trent Alexander-Arnold was delighted with his performance in England’s pre-Euros friendly with Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday night.
The Liverpool man scored the second goal of a comfortable 3-0 win as Gareth Southgate’s men finalise their preparations for the finals in Germany.
“I love playing football and it was one I have been excited for the past two weeks and all focus has been on that,” he said after the game. “We had a good week training. I was itching to get out there, I love playing for my country, I love representing it. It’s always amazing to get these opportunities.”
