Liverpool’s trip to the City Ground for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest comes on the back of an eight-day break for Arne Slot‘s squad.
The manager has confirmed that Jeremie Frimpong is recovering well from the muscle injury he picked up against Qarabag last month, but won’t be fit for Sunday’s game.
“Jeremie will not be involved this weekend yet. We hope he will be involved next week if things go as planned,” he said in Thursday’s pre-match press conference.
Wataro Endo is also ruled out with a broken foot, and is not expected back any time soon. “Wata will be out for a long time, as I said earlier,” added Slot. “We don’t know exactly how long, but long.”
Alexander Isak also remains unavailable, although he is starting to return to training ahead of schedule and could be back in a few weeks time.
Sunday’s game kicks off at 2pm. Be sure to check back for TV and live stream info and confirmed team news as soon as its announced.
