Liverpool have had a third offer for Romeo Lavia worth £45m rejected by Southampton, according to reports.
After previous offers of £35m and £42m were dismissed, this latest rejection is a clear indication that the Saints are holding out for their £50m valuation.
With Liverpool getting more and more desperate for a defensive midfielder to replace the outgoing Fabinho before the transfer window closes, it is likely they will stump up the asking price and get the deal done.
