Liverpool’s new centre-back Jeremy Jacquet has been handed Ibou Konate’s number 5 shirt.
The 21-year-old fellow Frenchman takes on a number which has been worn by a long history of legendary players, including Phil Thompson, Tommy Smith, Ray Kennedy, Gary Gillespie, Daniel Agger and more recently Gini Wijnaldum.
