Liverpool are being linked with a possible summer move for Andreas Schjelderup.
The Reds are among the clubs monitoring him, with Tottenham, Atletico Madrid, AC Milan and Como also sniffing around, with Benfica’s 22-year old Norwegian winger valued at £26m, considerably less than the £100m being bandied about for RB Lepzig’s Yan Diomande.
Schjelderup is under contract until 2028 and with seven Liga Portugal goals and five assists last season, he could be a perfect fit for Andoni Iraola‘s new attacking system.
It looks like we have an exciting summer transfer window ahead, as the club look to improve on what was a dismal season and ensure we are once again competing for the Premier League title and Champions League.
